Sika man – Teeth bleaching

I used to have beautiful white teeth like the movie stars and since having braces on for 2 yrs, they have somewhat discoloured and now have an off colour that the dentist cant do anything about. I dont smoke or drink so thats not the cause. So does anyone have any suggestions how to get them white again?

I got Zoom a while back and though my teeth were known for being white, nothing compared to the results I got w/ it.

My friend has purchased a tooth whitening kit which has come with a blue led light thing that you put into your mouth and a syringe full of something… However there were no instructions! Anyone know how she needs to use the kit?

A simple google search will show that the main ingredient in tooth bleaching is some kind of peroxide, usually hydrogen peroxide.

My question is, "If you put some 3%, standard brown bottle hydrogen peroxide from the pharmacy on your toothbrush to soak into the bristles, and then proceed to put on toothpaste and brush normally, and continue this program indefinitely, how long will it take to see some results?"

My answer is don’t do it…
Although 3% hydrogen is equal only 12% Carbamide peroxide which is weak you still don’t want it to touch your gum to much. I also don’t think you will see good result this way.

If you are trying to bleach your teeth for cheap then i suggest take advantage of one of the free whitening offers. use a product with 20%-30% Carbamide (equal 7-10% hydrogen) you will get great results and you can maintain it with good oral hygiene.

mouth wash? One capful of household bleach mixed with one cup of water? A dentist told my senior aunt to do this because she was having pain while flossing after some dental work. This has me concerned I told her NOT to do it.

I got my teeth bleached at my dentist. I do not drink coffee and I do not smoke. However, she said I should keep off colored foods/drinks (tea, red wine, chocolate, fruit) for a week, but it seems a little exaggerated. Can I eat strawberries?

you can eat anything anytime, but the sooner u eat things with a strong colour the more likely that your teeth will pick up the colour as they are more prone to straight after bleaching. if you do eat these things just try to brush after, or rinse around with water.
